Buyer, seller, or promoter: how the three roles work
You're not locked into one role. Here's what each one actually does.
Every account starts as a buyer. Selling and promoting are roles you add on top, each through its own short onboarding flow (Become a Seller or Become a Promoter), not a different account type.
A seller lists products (digital files, courses, or kits) and manages their own storefront, pricing, and curriculum. A promoter shares trackable links to other sellers' products and earns the commission rate that seller sets. Promoters don't list products of their own.
You can hold more than one role at once. Plenty of people end up buying, selling, and promoting from the same account, switching between the buyer marketplace and their seller or promoter workspace from the account menu.
