Settle the structure before you start recording. It is much harder to fix after.
Before Recording a Course
- A clear, one-sentence outcome for the whole course.
- A full module and lesson outline, in the order a learner should move through it.
- At least one practical exercise or project, not only lecture-style lessons.
- A defined starting skill level, so you know what you can assume the learner already knows.
- A short script or outline for each lesson, not just a rough plan in your head.
